Founded in 2018 by Alex Matthews, Chelsea Matthews and Cary Mosier, Highly Likely Cafe marked something new in West Adams on Jefferson Boulevard in Los Angeles.
Inspired by Australian breakfast culture, Highly Likely began life as an idea to open a tiny coffee house in the burgeoning historic neighborhood of West Adams. What actually happened was a local’s friendly full-service cafe with exceptional food prepared by Chef Kat Turner that quickly gained popularity with local artists, musicians and craftsman.

THE BRIEF
Our goal with the Highly Likely branding and space design was to create a warm feeling, approachable space that felt simple, minimal and comfortable.
THE APPROACH
To bring the brand to life, we created a series of characters that are painted on the cafe’s exterior that includes a parrot skate-boarding, a smiling crocodile and wiggly arms reaching for coffee cups filled with our brews!
Stop by for our famous Fish Don’t Have Fingers Sando if you are ever in LA.
